TRAVEL GUIDE

Mexico Beach, Florida

The quaint seaside town of Mexico Beach offers a flavor all its own with unique shops, beachfront restaurants and waterfront recreation. Sugar-white sand beaches, clear waters and a wide variety of beach properties include beachfront homes, town homes and even canal front units with private boat docks.

Located on the Florida panhandle, Mexico Beach is a community on the edge of the Gulf of Mexico but miles from anything else. As you drive along scenic Highway 98, there are no high rises, nothing to block your view of sea oats and white sand. You may stop for a family of beachgoers crossing the road, but no traffic lights. Park between palm trees, and enjoy.

Mexico Beach was founded in the 1950's and remains a friendly village where families have been making beachside memories for generations. Fishing is king here with public boat ramps and a popular fishing pier. Numerous festivals are held throughout the year with the Independence Day, Best Blast on the Beach, as one of the most anticipated. During your stay, take part in swimming, kayaking, fishing, recreational diving, eco-tours or just relaxing. When it comes to suppertime, if you have not caught your own dinner, visit one of the many restaurants, either on the beach or across the street. When you are in Mexico Beach, you are always within walking distance of the water.
